In 2023, China was the primary country of origin for cross-border purchases by French online shoppers. According to a survey, 46 percent of digital buyers in France said their cross-border purchases came from China. In addition, 15 percent of respondents reported purchasing from Germany, and another eight percent from the United Kingdom.
