Brazil: perception of own state of health 2013-2018, by gender When asked how would they evaluate their health status, 3.7 percent of male Brazilian respondents claimed to have a poor health status in 2018, up from 2.9 percent of the men surveyed a year earlier. This figure was lower than the share of female Brazilian respondents who claimed to have as well a poor health status, which reached around 5.5 percent in 2018.
