Generation Z's expected future relationship to food in Sweden 2017
This statistic shows the result of a survey conducted in 2017 on the future expectations of Sweden's Generation Z to their relationship to food in the year 2040. 97 percent of respondents stated to come along and decide what to eat for dinner when buying food. Generally helping with food shopping was the idea of 91 percent. A share of 74 percent of respondents born around the year 2000, stated that they'll watch as much or even more cooking shows, while 56 percent expected to eat more fruit and vegetables in the future. A share of 53 percent thought that they'll eat less meat in 2040.
