Potentially preventable stroke deaths from price changes for select foods U.S. 2017
This statistic presents the estimated number of deaths from stroke in the U.S. that could be prevented per year with a 10 percent and 30 percent price change for select foods as of 2017. It was calculated that 10 percent price subsidies for fruit could prevent up to 3,038 stroke deaths per year.
