Italy: number of book readers 2010-2016
This statistic illustrates the number of people who read at least one non-school book a year among the Italian population over six years of age in the period from 2010 to 2016. The study suggests that the number of book readers in Italy declined between 2012 and 2016. While in 2012 there were over 26 million readers, by 2016 their number had decreased to 23.3 million, a six-year low.
