This statistic shows the average annual rate of invasive cancer cases in nonmetropolitan and metropolitan counties in the U.S. from 2009 to 2013, by age. During that time, there were an average of 672 new invasive cancer cases per 100,000 population per year among those aged 45 to 64 years in metropolitan counties with a population greater than or equal to 1 million.
