Share of families who do not trust to drink tap water in Italy 2002-2022
Despite decreasing from over 40 percent in 2002, the level of mistrust towards tap water use in Italy showed an increasing trend in the last few years and amounted to 29.4 percent in 2022. Rural locations accounted for the largest share of households which did not trust to drink tap water.
