In 2022, only 4,462 foreign patients accessed traditional Korean treatments in South Korea. While this represents an increase from the previous coronavirus (COVID-19)-stricken years, it is still far from pre-pandemic numbers. Patient numbers peaked in 2019 at over 23.7 thousand.
