According to a survey conducted in South Korea from 2021 to 2022, around 63 percent of doctoral graduates in the field of information and communications technology stated that they earned 50 million South Korean won or more annually. In contrast, only about 18 percent of Ph.D holders in arts and humanities earned the same amount.
