Income distribution of Ph.D. holders in South Korea 2022, by location
In 2022, around 52 percent of doctoral holders who graduated from universities in the Seoul Capital Area (SCA) earned 50 million South Korean won or more per year, while about 47 percent of doctoral holders from other regions earned the same amount.
