Italy: customer buying behavior towards insurance products 2016
This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in Italy among insurance customers as of 2016. The aim of the survey was to analyze customer buying behavior towards insurance products and the dynamics leading to the actual purchase of insurance policies. As of the survey period, 28 percent of respondents stated they explained their needs to the insurance agent and, subsequently, purchased the products which the insurance intermediaries indicated to be as the most suitable for them. Conversely, eight percent of respondents have purchased insurance policies autonomously, without following any agent's suggestions.
