This statistic illustrates the top three most popular accommodation types among Italian tourists in summer 2018. According to the survey conducted by IPSOS results show that Italians preferred paid accommodation: nearly half of respondents (47 percent) had chosen to stay in hotel rooms, while 32 and 28 percent had opted for holiday rentals and bed & breakfasts, respectively.
