A survey conducted in 2018 investigated the opinions about measures to limit the access to healthcare services for people with a harmful lifestyle (smokers, alcoholics, drug addicts, obese) in Italy, by education level. According to survey data, the two factors seemed to be related. For instance, the share of individuals who were favorable to the introduction of such policies increased proportionally with the level of education. In the same way, the percentage of people in disagreement was inversely proportional with the level of education.
