U.S. women who were asked about select health topics in 2020, by age
According to the surveys, the percentage of women who were asked about select health issues has increased over the years from 2004 to 2020. Most noticeable were the increases in discussions about smoking, alcohol/drug use, and mental health issues among women and their health care provider. As of 2020, the large majority of women had discussions about these topics compared to only half just 3 years ago. This statistic illustrates the percentage of U.S. women who discussed select health behaviors with their health care provider within the past 2 years from 2004 to 2020.
