In 2021, Finns spent on average 19 minutes per day reading books. Over the period from 2011 to 2021, the daily time spent on reading books varied between 19 and 35 minutes in Finland.

Since 2016, figures only include fiction and non-fiction literature, as reading textbooks was excluded from the survey.
