This statistic shows the results of a survey of British adults in 2018, regarding the future of the House of Lords. Of respondents, 34 percent wanted to see the House of Lords replaced by a partly or wholly elected chamber, while 21 percent wanted to see it abolished entirely. Only 16 percent of respondents were happy with the current system in which members of the House of Lords are appointed.
