As of 2021, the United Kingdom was the country with the largest total number of rounds of investments by venture capital firms in Europe. In this year, it was recorded in the United Kingdom a number of 1,769 rounds of venture capital backed investments. France and Germany with 686 and 798 VC rounds respectively.
