The survey results indicate that as of 2017, the usage rate of social media was highest amongst decision makers in the sales and marketing domain. In 2017, just under 85 percent of decision-makers in sales and marketing made professional use of social media, whereas the share of decision-makers using social media in the finance domain was lowest, at roughly 40 percent.
