Dead weight tonnage of Turkish merchant ships 2021, by ship type

In 2021, the ship type with the most deadweight tonnage (DWT) was bulk carriers, which accounted for approximately 26 percent of the total fleet tonnage, with 1.537 million DWT. Meanwhile, oil tankers ranked second with a total deadweight capacity of around 1.27 million tons.
