This statistic depicts the result of a survey on the share of individuals with chronic diseases using digital health services in Italy in 2018, by type. As of survey period, 80 percent of respondents, declared to use digital channels for booking healthcare services, whereas 66 percent of them stated they had the habit to pay for those services through digital methods.

*The figure refers to the total number of people surveyed in the study. For this section of the analysis, only individuals with chronic diseases have been considered. They account for 27 percent of the total sample. Among them, 12 percent suffer from hypertension, six percent from diabetes, four percent from congestive heart failure, four percent from chronic bronchitis and nine percent from other chronic diseases.
