People who have wrongly believed fake news worldwide 2018 The statistic shows the share of adults in selected countries worldwide who have wrongly believed a news story was real until realizing it was fake as of July 2018. According to Ipsos, 58 percent of surveyed adults in South Korea said that they have falsely believed a news story was real until finding out that it was fake, compared to 33 percent of respondents in Great Britain who said the same.
