This statistic illustrates the distribution of investment in Spanish television shows in Spain in 2016, by media group. Atresmedia represented approximately half of the share of the total investment, followed by Mediaset Spain, which held a share of approximately 22 percent of the investment. Other media groups include RTVE and Telefónica, with shares of 15.4 percent and 11.7 percent respectively.
