Belief in fake news in the U.S. 2018, by age group
The statistic shows the share of adults who sometimes think fake news is real in the United States as of June 2018, broken down by age group. The findings reveal that responding U.S. adults over the age of 65 years old were most likely to admit that they sometimes thought that fake news was real until later realizing it was not. In comparison, those aged between 50 and 64 years were less likely to agree that this was the case.
