Private consumption share in the Benelux 2021, by country
The private consumption expenditure as a share of GDP in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands (Benelux) varied from 20 to 50 percent in 2021. During that year, the private consumption expenditure as a share of GDP was highest in Belgium, at just under 49 percent. The Netherlands and Luxembourg recorded lower private consumption expenditure shares with respectively 41.6 and 29.6 percent of their respective GDPs.
