This statistic displays the results of a survey of the average daily consumption of fats and oils in the Netherlands from 2012 to 2016, by type, in grams. The survey results show that from 2012 to 2016, respondents consumed more margarine and cooking fats than other types of fats and oils. Respondents consumed an average of roughly 15 grams of margarine and cooking fats daily, while the average daily amount of butter consumed was much lower, at 2.2 grams.
