Area dedicated to organic farming in France 2008-2021

The total agricultural area devoted to the farming of organic products went from 586,124 hectares in 2008 to 2,776,554 hectares in 2021. It means that, in a little more than a decade, this surface area was multiplied by almost five.
The proportion of organic farms when compared to the total number of farms also underwent a significant increase during that same period.
