Perceptions on if pupil poverty has increased in England and Wales in 2019
This statistic shows the results of a survey which asked headteachers in England and Wales if they thought pupil poverty had increased in the years leading up to 2019. Of respondents, 71 percent said they had seen a rise in the number of pupils affected by poverty as well as an increase in the severity, with only 4 percent advising they had seen no change.
