Consumer Insights data table
The United States is one of the top countries when it comes to the amount of waste produced each year. One driver of waste production is overconsumption. Consumers in the United States can therefore tackle waste production by consuming less and more mindful. But do U.S. American consumers see waste production as an issue, and do they care about being more sustainable?
The Statista study “Sustainable Consumption” takes a look at the general mindset of U.S. American consumers towards sustainability. In addition, the study includes the attitudes towards sustainable food, fashion, and cosmetics complemented by sustainability ratings of brands in all three areas. The study also covers the brand awareness and the purchases of sustainable brands.
The data table contains the complete tables for the survey including various column headings.
