The bank offers a range of services including trading, mergers and acquisitions advisory services, private wealth management, retail banking and fund management. Deutsche Bank had 2,064 branches worldwide and employed 91,737 people in 2018.
More than half of Deutsche Bank's capital was held in Germany and vast majority of the capital was in the hands of the institutional investors. The value of shareholders' equity increased from approximately 37.89 billion euros in 2007 to approximately 62.5 billion euros in 2018.
The price of one share of Deutsche Bank was equal to 6.98 euros on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at the end of 2018. It was the smallest price that investors had to pay since 1990. For the first time since years the bank did not pay any dividend to its investors in 2018.
