In 2018, NetApp generated revenue of approximately 3.37 billion U.S. dollars worldwide from enterprise storage systems and in the first quarter of 2019 the company held a 13 percent share of the external enterprise storage systems market globally.
Through its partnership with Cisco, the company is also among the leading vendors of cloud IT infrastructure worldwide.
