Transaction development in selected industries compared to pre-Covid in the UK 2020

In the period covering the week of June 22-28, 2020, the percentage change in online transactions made in the supermarket sector saw a surge of 139.5 percent compared to pre-Covid (the period between January 6 - February 2016). The growth in transactions was strong in home furnishing and DIY industry as well, developing by 60 percent in the last week of June when compared to the pre-Covid times.
