Reasons for not access the market to buy food items in Kenya 2020
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic may have caused disruptions to the access to markets and grocery stores in Kenya, as 22.4 percent of households reported having difficulties purchasing food items in the period between May and June 2020. The main reason for not accessing grocery stores was the closure of markets (44.1 percent), followed by movement restrictions (30.9 percent), such as curfew.
