Share of K-12 schools teaching in-person due to COVID-19 U.S. 2020-2021
The share of K-12 schools in the United States who were teaching in-person has increased since September 2020. At the beginning of September 2020, 18.9 percent of K-12 schools were teaching students traditionally (in-person) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This figure increased to 38.8 percent of K-12 schools by February 2021.
