Penetration rate of live streaming commerce among females in China 2020-2021
In January 2021, around 18.6 percent of female users in China had watched livestreams on e-commerce platforms, up from 15.3 percent in the same month of the previous year. The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the already booming shoppable livestream sector in China which currently led by Taobao, Douyin, and Kuaishou.
