Change in visits to attractions by type England 2022

The number of admissions to visitor attractions in England grew by 42 percent in 2022 over the previous year, following a sharp drop in 2020 with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2022, places of worship, museums, and art galleries experienced the highest annual increase, with admissions rising by more than 110 percent compared to 2021. By contrast, country parks reported a two percent year-over-year drop in admissions in 2022.
