Preference for premium grocery products in Tanzania 2018, by type
Nearly eight out of 10 consumers in Tanzania would pay more for higher quality staples foods, according to a survey conducted in 2018. Other 57 percent of respondents would be willing to spend more money in order to get better soft drinks, while 55 percent would do the same to purchase milk. On the other hand, only three percent reported the intention of paying more for premium spirits and wine.
