Number of doctor visits for newborns in Italy in 2020, by mother's age
For nonpathological infants, born between April 1, 2019 and July 31, 2020 in Italy, the average number of doctor visits during their first six months was quite constant across the mother's age at birth. A higher mean could be observed only when the mother was younger than 25, in which case infants visited the doctor an average of 2.2 times during their first six months.
