As of January 2024, Asia was home to the highest percentage of global internet users, with almost a quarter of worldwide internet users being based in Eastern Asia. Southern Asia ranked second, representing 18.5 percent of the global online users. Furthermore, the internet users in South-Eastern Asia were ten percent of the overall internet users worldwide.
