New Zealand: factors that contributed to a decrease in online shopping 2022

In a survey conducted in February 2023 among consumers in New Zealand, around 68 percent of shoppers disclosed that they had decreased their online spending due to financial reasons, such as higher prices and less money to spend. Being able to shop in stores without COVID-19 restrictions also contributed to a decrease in online shopping among consumers.
