Data protection measures taken by internet users in France 2022, by type
According to a 2022 survey of internet users in France, 77 percent of the respondents reported using security software such as antivirus, as opposed to 23 percent who said they did not have it. Additionally, six in ten respondents reported opting for specific smartphones, tablets, computers, or other devices to ensure a more secure operating system. For a more secure browsing experience, 52 percent of respondents reported using tools like browser plugins to safeguard their personal information.
