Views on the impact of international tourism on culture, values, and heritage NZ 2023
In a survey conducted in 2023 among New Zealanders on their views of tourism, around 58 percent of respondents agreed that international tourism had a very positive or somewhat positive impact on the country's culture, values, and heritage. Around six percent of those surveyed said international tourism had a very negative or somewhat negative impact on culture, values, and heritage in New Zealand.
