In financial year 2023, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the ruling national political party in India, collected approximately 7.2 billion Indian rupees in donations, an increase from 6.1 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year. The total donations received by national parties during fiscal year 2023 marked a substantial increase of 12.09 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
