Alcohol online search channels worldwide 2023

A survey conducted in 2023 revealed that a third of global shoppers used online marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Tmall, Mercado Libre) for product search when it comes to alcoholic beverages, making this the preferred channel for pre-purchase browsing among consumers, ranking ahead of in-store browsing (21 percent) and search engines (14 percent).
