In 2023, almost 30 percent of adult surveyed in the United States reported to be slightly comfortable if their healthcare provider relied on AI to diagnose diseases or recommend treatments for their medical care. Just over 10 percent of U.S. adults would be extremely comfortable if their health provider relied on AI. On the other hand, 20 percent of U.S. adults would not be comfortable at all knowing that their healthcare provider was AI-directed.
