Plastic waste collected for recycling in India 1990-2019

The volume of plastic waste collected for recycling in India has seen a continual annual growth since 1990. By 2019, India's recycled plastic waste was estimated at 3.66 million metric tons. Despite the upward trend, recycling only accounts for about one-fifth of plastic waste management in India.
