Oil consumption in Norway 2011-2022
Norway consumed around 192,000 barrels of oil and oil products per day in December 2022. This was a decrease compared to the previous year and the lowest figure in the period of consideration. Oil consumption is largely tied to the use of oil-based transportation fuels, which has declined in light of greater electric vehicle adoption.
