This statistic shows the share of private label and brand label types of alcohol British shoppers choose most regularly when shopping, according to a survey conducted in December 2012. Consumers who regularly bought alcohol were asked to indicate which type they bought most regularly. The majority tended to buy national brands of alcohol rather than private label. Those who did generally buy private label alcohol tended to choose standard own labels rather than economy/value or premium own labels.
