Most advertised brands on TV in the U.S. in Q4 2018, by ad count In the fourth quarter of 2018, Liberty Mutual’s ads ran almost 35,800 times on U.S. television, making it the most advertised brand that quarter. Gold Bond Ultimate’s commercials came in a close second.

U.S. TV advertising revenue

In 2018, TV advertising generated a revenue of roughly 71 billion U.S. dollars in the United States. By 2023, this number is predicted to grow by 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Globally, almost 165 billion U.S. dollars was generated through television advertising in 2018. Television advertising revenue worldwide is expected to increase steadily in the coming years. Each year, North America and the Asia Pacific region spend the most on TV advertising compared to other regions.

Radio advertising

The radio is also a common medium used for advertising. In 2018, the list of leading radio advertisers in the United States (by ad spend) included companies, such as Home Depot, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Comcast Corporation. T-Mobile US led the list, spending roughly 176 million U.S. dollars that year.
