Share of international and domestic tourist arrivals in Venice, Italy 2011-2022
In 2022, international travelers accounted for most tourist arrivals in Venice, representing nearly 73 percent of arrivals in the city. While this figure denoted a significant increase from the first two years of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the share of inbound arrivals in Venice remained below pre-pandemic levels.
