Aruba's internal consumption of travel and tourism, which include revenues and government spending in the sector, increased steadily during the past decade, reaching 2.14 billion U.S. dollars in 2019. In recent years, the constituent country of the Netherlands recorded annually over 1.6 million international visitor arrivals.
